John Williams in Tokyo

30 ans après sa dernière visite au Japon, John Williams est revenu pour un concert exceptionnel, faisant ses débuts avec le célèbre Saito Kinen Orchestra et retrouvant son ami de longue date, le chef d'orchestre Seiji Ozawa (1935-2024). Enregistré en direct au Suntory Hall l'année dernière, ‘John Williams In Tokyo’ fait suite à ses albums de concert à succès, The Berlin Concert et John Williams in Vienna, publiés chez Deutsche Grammophon. Capté en direct, le concert de Tokyo est une célébration musicale de l'amitié : aux côtés de 11 morceaux dirigés par John Williams, parmi ses musiques de film les plus célèbres, figure en bonus "Tributes ! (for Seiji)", composé par John Williams pour Seiji Ozawa, sous la direction de Stéphane Denève.
