Confiné chez lui au Pays-Bas avec sa famille pendant la pandémie du coronavirus, le pianiste et compositeur Brad Mehldau a écrit 12 titres évoquant cette expérience atypique. Cet album, enregistré dans un studio dAmsterdam, contient également 3 collaborations chères à lartiste : « Dont Let It Bring You Down » écrite par Neil Young, « New York State of Mind écrite par Billy Joel, et « Look for the Silver Lining » écrite par B.G. DeSylva et Jerome Kern.
